Dolores M. Sobczak nee Kazak; age 76; beloved daughter of Johanna and the late Stanley; loving mother of John, Mary Sobczak (Jose Ortiz), Karen Sobczak; devoted grandmother of Joyce, Victoria, and Michelle; great grandmother of Avery, Aiden, Alicia, Myrtle, Sienna, and Liam; fond sister of Don Kazak. She leaves behind a legacy of love. Dolores was a loving and compassionate person in all aspects of her life. She worked 40+ years at St. Elizabeth's Hospital as a registered nurse and was well-respected among her colleagues. She loved her work, loved helping others, and touched the hearts of those around her. She was the cornerstone of her family, from her three children to all of her grandchildren, and was always there with an ear to listen or a hand to help. She was deeply connected to her mother, Johanna, and was her caregiver these past few years. She learned the values of family and love from her parents and these values remained strong throughout her life. The church was an important part of her life and her faith was strong and constant and evident in her acts of love. She will leave behind a legacy of love and will be dearly missed, but in our heart always.
